When Is It Time to Call a Professional Dog Massage Therapist?

Holding workshops for dogs and their people, recognizing when dog moms and dads 'get it' with techniques I've shown them, is priceless. It's possible to 'feel' the 'oneness' when I see a dog mom or dad doing those hair twists or Clouded Leopard's. But when is it advisable to call me to have a visit with your pooch?

Here are several answers for you:

1) When your veterinarian refers me.

2) When you can't 'rub it away' on your own.

3) When your dog is on pain meds and you're emotional about your dog's condition.

4) If your dog is a service or therapy dog.

5) If your dog is in competition, an active working dog (cadaver dog, etc.), in training.

6) You are planning to breed.

7) You have just adopted or rescued a pooch, or brought home a new pup.

8) Your dog has new or chronic structural issues like a sprain, fall, tumble, or injury.

Here is a really good reason to schedule a 'first session' for your dog:

BEFORE YOUR DOG IS IN TROUBLE!

The best thing in the world for me, is being able to help a dog feel better and have success.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE A DOG MASSAGE FOR YOUR BEST POOCH FRIEND? WHAT CONCERNS DO YOU HAVE?
